We’re searching for Stainless Steel Fabricators that love metal more than Metallica. 

If you are a Mig or Tig Welder, a genuine team player, and have experience making tanks and vats, then we’d love to hear from you.

What do we do? 

Since the 1950s, DTS has been New Zealand’s leading provider of stainless-steel holding tanks and vats. 

Within the dairy industry alone, we manufacture 95% of the country’s milk vats and our business is expanding to include wine vats, pharmaceutical vats, and pressure vessels. 

In addition to our manufacturing business, we supply and service dairy farm refrigeration and technology equipment to provide a total solution to the NZ dairy industry.   

Working with DTS means you’ll have opportunities to be trained to use tools and equipment that aren’t found anywhere else in New Zealand.  


What we are looking for:
 

  • Experience in Stainless steel fabrication. 
  • Experienced in Mig and Tig Welding. 
  • The ability to read and understand, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements. 
  • Preferably trade qualified. 
  • Genuine team player. 
  • Quality workmanship with attention to detail. 
  • Experience in the manufacture of tanks preferred.

Skills required:

  • Refrigeration or Engineering qualification.
  • Fault finding/problem-solving.
  • Air conditioning and HVAC installation and servicing experience.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of computers and the MS Office suite of products.
  • Able to work autonomously.
  • Willingness for ongoing training in refrigeration.
  • An affinity with the NZ dairy industry.
